Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - February 10, 2025) - C3 Metals Inc. (TSXV: CCCM) is pleased to announce the successful partnership with Nine Miles of Smiles ("NMS") to deliver critical dental care and oral hygiene educational programs to the Bellas Gate community in rural Jamaica. This initiative was generously supported by a grant from the RCF Foundation and exemplifies C3 Metals' commitment to building meaningful partnerships and contributing to the long-term, sustainable wellbeing of the communities in which the Company operates.

The outreach program reflects C3 Metals' vision of creating lasting value beyond its exploration activities, with a focus on empowering local communities through sustainable opportunities and partnerships that will endure.

Supporting Health and Wellness in Bellas Gate, Jamaica

As part of its exploration initiatives in Bellas Gate, Jamaica, C3 Metals identified a need for improved access to dental care and community health resources. In response, the Company applied for and received a grant from the RCF Foundation. With the financial support from the RCF Foundation, C3 Metals partnered with NMS, a 100% volunteer-run and registered Canadian non-profit charity, to organize a mobile dental clinic. The initiative provided essential dental care to a total of 175 people in the rural communities nearest to where C3 Metals conducts its mineral exploration activities.

The clinic's achievements included:

  • Blood pressure, blood sugar and oral cancer screenings.

  • 31 on-site tooth extractions.

  • 50 cleanings performed by the NMS team and local dental professionals.

  • Distribution of 175+ toothbrushes and hygiene kits, locally sourced to support the Jamaican economy.

  • Education of oral hygiene and awareness of Bellas Gate primary school students through Oral Health Promoter and Sugar Science Fair programs.

  • 89 dental screenings and application of preventive fluoride where 74% of school children had visible decay requiring further treatment.

  • Active engagement from the C3 Metals' team, who assisted with on-the-ground logistics and patient support.

Dan Symons, President and CEO stated, "Our exploration work in Bellas Gate goes hand in hand with our commitment to leaving a positive, long-lasting legacy in the communities in which we operate. Through initiatives like this, we aim to create sustainable opportunities that will continue to benefit local communities by providing education and the necessary tools for sustainable outcomes. It was an honour to be part of such a successful program. The Bellas Gate community has welcomed us and our exploration programs with open arms. By partnering with NMS, and made possible through a generous grant received from the RCF Foundation, we were able to positively change the lives of numerous community members - one smile at a time."

Investing in the Next Generation

C3 Metals and NMS prioritized education as a vital component of the initiative. The outreach program empowered students at Bellas Gate Primary and Basic School through two unique activities designed to promote health awareness and personal development:

  1. Oral Health Promoter Certification: Grade 6 students received training to become certified health advocates, ensuring they can lead future oral hygiene efforts in their community.

  2. Sugar Science Fair: Grade 4 and 5 students explored the health impacts of sugar through hands-on projects, inspiring healthier habits and critical thinking skills.

Kimberly Daley, Founder & President of NMS stated: "At NMS, we believe in bringing impactful, sustainable solutions to the communities we serve. Collaborating with C3 Metals and the RCF Foundation allowed us to deliver health and education programs tailored to the unique needs of Bellas Gate, leaving a foundation for continued progress."

ABOUT C3 METALS INC.

C3 Metals Inc. is a mineral exploration company focused on creating substantive value for its shareholders through the discovery and development of large copper and gold deposits. The Company holds approximately 30,000 hectares located in the prolific high-grade Andahuaylas-Yauri Porphyry-Skarn belt of Southern Peru. At Jasperoide, the Company has identified over 15 skarn prospects and an outcropping porphyry system over two parallel 28km belts. The Company has published a maiden resource estimate on the first of these skarn targets, which contained Measured & Indicated Resources of 52Mt at 0.5% copper and 0.2 g/t gold. The Company is also actively exploring in Jamaica where it has identified 16 porphyry, 40 epithermal and multiple volcanic redbed copper prospects over a 30km strike extent. The Company holds a 100% interest in 17,855 hectares of exploration licenses and a 50% interest in 9,870 hectares in a joint venture with Geophsyx Jamaica Ltd, the largest mineral tenure holder in the country. Barrick Gold Corp. announced on May 1, 2024 that it had entered into an earn-in agreement with Geophysx Jamaica Ltd. on approximately 400,000 hectares of exploration licenses, several of which surround C3 Metals' mineral concessions. Mining is currently the second largest industry in Jamaica, and historical mining dates back to the colonial eras of the 1500s (Spanish) and 1800s (British).
